Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 13: Ranveer Singh Film Nears ₹500 Crore Mark in India

Ranveer Singh’s action-drama Dhurandhar continues its unstoppable box-office journey as it enters its second week in theatres across India. The film is now just a step away from crossing the massive ₹500 crore milestone in the domestic market, making it one of the biggest Hindi releases of the year. As per the latest trade reports, Dhurandhar has collected an impressive ₹437.25 crore nett in India after 13 days, with Wednesday alone contributing around ₹25 crore to its total earnings.

Earlier, the makers of the film, Jio Studios, officially confirmed via social media that Dhurandhar had earned ₹428.5 crore after completing 12 days at the box office. The steady weekday collections highlight the strong audience response and positive word-of-mouth the film is enjoying. Trade experts believe that the film’s current trend suggests it could comfortably cross ₹500 crore before the end of its second weekend.

With these numbers, Dhurandhar has already surpassed several iconic films. SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali had earned approximately ₹421 crore in India during its theatrical run, while its worldwide gross stood at around ₹650 crore. In comparison, Dhurandhar has achieved similar domestic success within just two weeks of release, underlining its mass appeal.

Produced on an estimated budget of ₹140–150 crore, Dhurandhar has emerged as a highly profitable venture for its producers. The film currently holds the position of the second highest-grossing Hindi film of the year, trailing only Vicky Kaushal’s blockbuster Chhaava, which crossed ₹600 crore at the Indian box office earlier this year. Although Dhurandhar is still around ₹189 crore behind Chhaava, trade analysts believe the film has the potential to bridge the gap in the coming weeks if it maintains momentum.

However, the film’s box-office journey may face challenges in the days ahead. James Cameron’s much-anticipated Avatar: Fire and Ash is set to release this weekend with a massive multi-language rollout in India. The previous installment, Avatar: The Way of Water, performed exceptionally well in the country, earning ₹391 crore, making it a strong competitor for screens and audience attention.

In addition, Dhurandhar could also face limited competition from Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s romantic drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. While both films cater to different audience segments, they may compete for screen space in multiplexes. Meanwhile, Dinesh Vijan’s Ikkis, which was originally scheduled for a December release, has now been postponed to January, giving Dhurandhar some breathing room at the box office.

Dhurandhar features a powerful ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, R Madhavan, and Sara Arjun. Riding high on the film’s success, the makers have already completed shooting for the sequel, which is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. Interestingly, the sequel will face a high-profile box-office clash with Yash-starrer Toxic, setting the stage for another major cinematic showdown.
